Medusa Throw Knitting Pattern PDF
The Medusa Throw Pattern provides an introduction to producing gorgeous colourwork by using slipped stitches, and while only working with one colour at a time. The stitch pattern is worked in a six-row repeat which is easy to memorise.

Needle size
Circular needle at least 120 cm [47 in] long in size 9 mm [US 13] or size required to meet gauge.
Yarn requirement
350 m [380 yds], (505 m [550 yds]) of each of the three colours used, in a chunky yarn; 72% acrylic, 25% wool, 3% viscose, 138 m [151 yds] / 100 g.
For the pictured sample, I used King Cole Chunky Tweed in three colourways: Orkney, North Uist, and Benbecula. Substitute with any chunky yarn.
Gauge / tension
An unblocked swatch of 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 in] in the stitch pattern = 11 sts x 26 rows in mosaic stitch.
